Sacred Earth has been trading continuously since 1991. It is owned and run by Anthony Moorhouse and Nigel Pearson.
Anthony has been working profesionally in the healing field for over 25 years. He holds Diplomas in Advanced Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy as well as a Certificate in Ayurvedic Medicine from the National Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and the Institute of Indian Medicine at the University of Poona, India. He is a qualified Yoga teacher with the British School of Yoga of which he is a life member and holds an Advanced Yoga Teachers' Diploma. Anthony is a natural and intuitive psychic clairvoyant, giving in-depth Tarot readings by appointment at the shop premises. He is well known as one of the most consistently accurate readers in East Anglia and advance booking for a consultation is essential. Originally trained as a couture fashion designer, Anthony continues to create all types of clothing for our customers, from wedding dresses and formal wear of all kinds, to period, re-enactment and mediaeval costumes. Examples of some of his creations may be seen on our "Costumes" page and he is always willing to discuss their requirements with our customers.
Nigel is a practising Traditional Witch and has been working with the British Powers and Spirits and within the Western Mystery Tradition for over 30 years. He has experience of several paths of Traditional Craft and works continually to increase his knowledge in these areas. Nigel puts this knowledge of magic, ritual and ceremony to our customers use, to ensure they have just the items they require. He is the author of the influential books, "Treading the Mill: Practical CraftWorking in Modern Traditional Witchcraft" and also "Walking the Tides: Seasonal Rhythms and Traditional Lore in Natural Craft", both of which are available from Sacred Earth.
Nigel has recently passed his practitioners Diploma in Advanced Herbal Medicine and is currently studying for a Diploma in Homoeopathy.
