All of the healing techniques we use are holistic, meaning that they take into account the balance of mind, body and spirit, a connection which is often ignored in allopathic medicine. For it is said that:
" Whatever affects the body affects the mind and whatever affects the mind affects the body".

Aromatherapy uses the power of pure essential oils of natural plant origin. These are applied to your skin, through which they enter your body, going into your blood stream and then to all the organs of your body. The scent of the oils also affects your brain helping to balance your moods and all aspects of  your being.

Massage using Aromatherapy is extremely powerful, helping to stimulate your body's internal organs, drain toxins, boost your immune system and soothe muscle pain leaving you feeling relaxed and balanced.

Hands on Healing uses the divine energy that is all around us  and directs it into your body, so that mind, body and spirit can be healed.

Ayurveda and Herbal Medicine
Ayurveda is the ancient Indian Art of healing which brings your body back into balance. The word "Ayurveda" means "knowledge of life" and works by using herbal medicine, diet, exersice and spiritual practices to bring the body back into balance and thus banish disease. It has been practiced in an unbroken line for over 5000 years and is recognised by the World Health Organization as being one of the most important forms of medicine in the world. At Sacred Earth we use only the highest quality herbs in our practice either in raw form or as tinctures. Each patient is seen as an individual and the majority of medicines are mixed to your own specific needs.

About Therapist - Anthony Moorhouse

Anthony Moorhouse has been working as a traditional healer for over 20 years and has a successful practice in Ipswich. He began learning healing techniques at home as a child and went on to study at the Aromatherapy International School with Ziva Belic, gaining a Diploma in Aromatherapy. He studied Herbal Medicine with Herbalist Sandra Chalcott, the School of Phytotherapy and the British School of Yoga. He holds a Diploma in Advanced Herbalism as well as a Certificate in Ayurvedic Medicine with Highest Honours from the National Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and  the renowned Institute of Indian Medicine at the University of Poona, India. Anthony holds both a Yoga Teacher's Diploma and an Advanced Yoga Teacher's Diploma from the British School of Yoga (BSY). He is a life member of the BSY and a member of the Independant Yoga Register. Anthony has one of the largest private practices in the area and teaches and lectures extensively.
